Since childhood, Anouar has been patching and transforming abandoned objects to bring them back to life. A self-taught Moroccan artist, he trained in his hometown of Essaouira. He is committed to the art of recycling. What makes him happy is the success of creating new things. He uses polished sea tiles, ceramics, metals, wood, seeds and shells. Anouar Semmari now plans to sculpt using recovered tires and open a large workshop with other artists to create synergies.
